To keep membership costs as low as possible, our practice does not accept medical insurance. Members often choose to have some level of medical insurance to cover specialty care, urgent care and hospital care, labs and imaging. Members can use Dr. Hetrick’s discount when paying directly for labs and imaging.

 

Pricing

 

Individual Member Rate: $150/month*

One-time Registration Fee: $200/person

Weight management add-on: $40/month (does not include medication cost)

Lifestyle Medicine Only Consultation: $350 Initial 90-minute visit. $200 Follow-up visit. You retain your primary care physician

Complex Care Consultation: Pricing after discussion of complexity and intensity of service

*Discounts apply to household memberships with > 2 people

A medical cost sharing group is an alternative to traditional insurance. It can be used to pay for expenses that are not included in your Direct Primary Care membership, such as surgery, hospitalizations, specialist care, and Emergency Room or Urgent Care visits.

What if I have health insurance?

As a DPC practice, we do not accept insurance. However, it is important to have health insurance or a cost sharing plan for emergencies. Your Direct Primary Care membership does not include “catastrophic” care such as surgery or hospitalizations, or specialist care.

Many people find a high-deductible plan or cost-sharing plan, combined with a monthly membership in Direct Primary Care, gives them the lowest healthcare cost.
